Scientology Marks a Decade at Its Budapest Ideal Org

Nearly 500 Scientologists gathered in Budapest to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Church of Scientology’s Ideal Org on Váci Road.

Opened in 2016, the six-storey religious centre has become an important meeting place for the Hungarian Scientology community. The anniversary included a religious Scientology service, musical performances, a photographic and video retrospective and plans for the next decade.

During the past decade, the Budapest church has also hosted drug-prevention conferences, human-rights events, humanitarian meetings and interfaith dialogue. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
